What is the minimum order?

What is a chenille patch, exactly?
Looped yarn pile raised off a felt base — the varsity letter texture. It is read by depth and touch as much as by eye, which is why it is unbeatable for bold letters and silhouettes and the wrong tool for fine detail.
Can chenille handle detailed logos?
Honestly, no — loop pile swallows thin lines, small text and shading. We simplify artwork to its strongest silhouette (which you approve first), build combination patches with embroidered fine work where needed, and point genuinely detailed crests to embroidery before you spend.
Will new letters match the ones from previous years?
Yes — your school or organisation’s felt colour, yarn colour, letterform and sizes are held on file, and every batch is produced against it. Replacement letters for alumni are cut from the same file, decades later.
Can patches carry years and player numbers?
They are the product — graduation years, season years, player numbers and service chevrons are exactly what half the letterman sleeve carries, figured properly for pile. The only numbers that never appear are prices.
Sew-on or iron-on backing?
Letterman tradition is sew-on, and for a decades-long jacket it remains the honest answer. Iron-on is available for fashion runs and casual garments with its limits stated plainly — heavy pile held by adhesive alone is a compromise, and we will say when it is the wrong one.
Do you make the jackets too?
No — we make the patches, tailor-ready, and we say so. Kits arrive per athlete with placement notes, and the sewing belongs to a tailor working on the actual garment. A patch maker who claims to do everything usually does neither properly.
